5th Annual Complimentary Veterans' Appreciation Brunch

November 10, 2011 - On Wednesday, December 7, 2011, Senator Baddour will host his 5th Annual Complimentary Veterans' Appreciation Brunch in recognition of Pearl Harbor Day.

The event will be held at the Veterans' Northeast Outreach Center, 10 Reed Street, Haverhill, from 9 to 11 A.M., and is open to all veterans, military personnel, and their families from the First Essex District.

The event will provide a catered brunch and will feature several state and local figures who will discuss issues pertinent to our veteran community. Confirmed guests include Massachusetts Treasurer and Receiver General Steve Grossman, Department of Veterans Services Secretary Coleman Nee, and State Representative and United States Army veteran Linda Dean Campbell.  Other invited guests include Lieutenant Governor Timothy Murray and Massachusetts Army National Guard Adjutant General Joseph Carter.

The event is a great opportunity for veterans and their families to connect with others, share their stories, talk with local elected officials and military leaders, and to learn about the services available to veterans in the Commonwealth.  In the past, representatives from the Massachusetts Bar Association, United States Small Business Administration, and the Department of Veterans Services have attended and provided literature on free and low-cost services that are only available to our veterans and their families.

All veterans and their families are invited and encouraged to attend.  Please R.S.V.P. to Senator Baddour's Office at (617) 722-1604 or via e-mail to Michael.Habib@MASenate.gov.
